Software Engineer - Front-End (U.S.)

We’re looking for a Front-End Software Engineer with strong JavaScript skills and recent experience in Angular (version 8+). This is a remote (work-from-home) position in the US. If you're passionate about clean, scalable code and working on meaningful applications, we’d love to hear from you.
Salary Range - $75,000 to $100,000 plus bonus
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain front-end components using Angular (v19+)
- Work with DevExtreme Angular components (experience a plus)
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers
- Read and understand back-end code written in Python and Perl (not required to write it)
- Work with PostgreSQL and other SQL databases
- Use git, JIRA, and Atlassian tools for version control and task management
- Participate in code reviews using Fisheye/Crucible
- Contribute to best practices for Angular development
- Leverage RxJS, NgRx, and other reactive programming patterns
- Write and maintain tests using modern frameworks such as Jest and Playwright
- Use Figma (optional) to align UI development with design specifications
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent exp.
- 4+ years of professional development experience
- 5+ years of JavaScript experience
- 3+ years of Angular experience (v8 or newer)Strong understanding of Angular, TypeScript, and modern JS frameworks
- Strong understanding of Angular, TypeScript, and modern JS frameworks
- Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts (PostgreSQL preferred) Experience with Git and Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Crucible)
- Understanding of OOP and scalable front-end architecture
- Ability to translate technical requirements into high-quality, maintainable code
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a distributed team
- Familiarity with Linux-based environments
